Learning Difficulties: An Asian Perspective

Wordlab School, Inc., a non-stock, non-profit educational institution, is excited to organize The First Pan Asian Learning Difficulties Conference to be held in the Philippines at the Crowne Plaza, Ortigas Ave. cor ADB Ave, Quezon City from 25 to 27 October 2007.

This conference is relevant to all professionals who work with individuals with learning difficulties, as well as to parents and families of children, adolescents and adults with learning difficulties. Researchers and practitioners in the field, as well as persons with learning difficulties themselves, are invited to present papers and attend this landmark conference in the region.  

The theme LEARNING DIFFICULTIES: AN ASIAN PERSECTIVE aims to allow experts (based on professional and personal experience) to exchange their experiences about the understanding, policy and advocacy initiatives, assessment, intervention and therapy of children with learning difficulties in Asia.  

The conference will have keynote addresses, paper presentations during parallel symposia, interactive demonstration lessons and poster sessions.  We are pleased to announce that the following have confirmed as Plenary Speakers:
